Kipor and Action – What a Team
We at AEC have always been known for being cautious when entering into new business ventures. And this could be the reason for us eventually choosing Kipor forklifts as our Chinese forklift partner. For many years we looked at the various Chinese products available and found most fell well short of our expectations in terms of quality and after sales service. Eventually we came across the Kipor brand of forklift and after extensive testing by putting them into our forklift rental fleet we have made the decision to offer the Kipor for sale and for rental throughout South Africa.
After 40 years in the forklift business we are convinced that with the excellent Kipor product, very competive pricing and our own tried and tested after sales service we are now ready to supply our customers with this great brand of forklift.
Action Equipment Company recently took delivery of another 10 new forklifts for its expanding rental fleet. Yolanda Jeffries, Customer Services Manager for the company says "The 10 new Doosan forklifts will increase our rental fleet to over 200 forklifts, the majority of which are Doosan. Over the years we have tried most makes of forklifts in our fleet and have found the Doosan to be most effective in the tough world of forklift hire". The new forklifts will be working at Vereeniging Refractories where AEC has been supplying hired forklifts for over 30 years.
There are many benefits to full maintenance rental such as fixed monthly costs throughout the rental period, guaranteed up time of the equipment and knowing that all rented forklifts have valid load test certificates.
In addition to the latest 10 machines, AEC also has a number of new units on order and these new machines will also soon be joining the AEC forklift rental fleet.

10 Years of Key Accounts Management and Still Growing
For the past 10 years Mr. Alan Will has been the Key Accounts Manager at AEC.Alan’s role is to ensure that major clients who either rent their forklifts from AECor major clients who use AEC for servicing and repairs of their own forklifts receive the best possible service. The job involves extensive traveling throughout SA and other African countries. It also means that at any given time Alan and his team of product support staff and technicians are responsible for the well being of over 400 forklift trucks every day of the year.
